The
Marketing Technologies Bureau implemented the first (basic) phase of the
research "Evaluation of the effectiveness of the work with women who
inject drugs".
Under the
"installation" wave of the research project in 5 cities were
organized expert interviews with members of nongovernmental organizations and
with women - injecting drug users.
One of the
main goals is the gradual assessment of the effectiveness of local NGOs, whose
activities are aimed at introducing gender-sensitive approaches in efforts to
prevent HIV infection in risk groups.
In
accordance with the monitoring program, the first of three waves of research
has fixed the starting, that is basic, figures in September 2010. January,
February and May of 2011 are scheduled for the second and third waves of the
research.
