PR-bureau "Dieslovo" and Marketing Technologies Bureau with information and analysis portal Sostav.ua conducted a survey of experts of the Ukrainian market players regarding marketing activities and interactions with agencies working in the field of advertising, PR and research services up to 2012.
In the study, «Marketing Technologies Bureau» experts conducted 50 expert interviews with the persons making decisions on a choice of agencies for satisfaction of marketing requirements of the company. Among the experts of poll were selected executives of companies, heads of marketing, marketing managers, PR-and brand managers working in the markets: FMCG, retail, home appliances, light industry, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, logistics, building materials, insurance, banking, the car market, construction, transport, IT, real estate, packing.
The main objectives of the study were: 1) to determine how is the selection of an advertising agency, and how often companies are turning to contractors to solve marketing problems; 2) where the customer becomes aware of the agency; 3) how is the tender and what the criteria for selection of agencies in this case; 4) who in the client company decides to select a contractor; 5) which type of the agency chooses customer: a network or local, specialized or full.
