Sexism in advertising and automotive market of Ukraine ". Creative Director of the Marketing Technologies Bureau appeared before participants of the Forum on non-discriminatory standards adoption.
September 30, in 15th International Exhibition of Advertising, Marketing and Media REX 2011, Forum on non-discriminatory standards adoption in advertising was held.
During the event, nine leading professional organizations have signed a protocol of intentions with support and adoption of such standards in Ukraine.
Ukrainian leaders of advertising and marketing community and experts of worldwide professional societies took part in event. To represent the views of the client leading Ukrainian companies, such as "Eurocar", "Ukrmilkinvest", "Bogdan" and others were involved to the discussion.
Creative Director of Marketing Technologies Bureau, Nicola Chernogolovka made a presentation on "Sexism in advertising and automotive market of Ukraine." In its report, Nicola presented the history global advertising market, changing in parallel with strengthening of women's struggle for their rights. Advertising expert, said: "As a result of women's struggle for their rights in the 19th and 20th century, today the sexist world is becoming more and more unacceptable in countries belonging to the avant-garde post-industrial civilization, such as USA, Canada, European Union countries. And this is not only and not so much on the level of government and public declarations, but in the minds of hundreds of millions of people. Those people whom advertisements are directed. Now this kind of advertising is shocking the whole society, not just activists, feminist movements, as it was in the 50s of last century. "
