The Marketing
Technologies Bureau won a tender for a large-scale research "Evaluation of
the effectiveness of the work with women who inject drugs."
Research is
conducted on request of ICF "International HIV / AIDS Alliance in Ukraine”
within the framework of the program “Scaling up the national response to
HIV/AIDS through Information and Services” (“SUNRISE”) program supported by the
US Agency for International Development.The project lasts from 2010 to 2011,
and covers five cities of Ukraine: Nikolaev, Kostiantynivka, Slavyansk,
Belgorod-Dnestrovsk and Uman.
One of the
main tasks is the gradual assessment of the effectiveness of local NGOs, whose
activities are aimed at introducing gender-sensitive approaches in efforts to
prevent HIV infection in risk groups
