Sexism in advertising - moral and economic aspects.
Two lectures on the role of sexism in modern advertising were read in the November 9, 2012 in Lviv by Nicola Chernogolovko, the creative director of the Bureau.
The reports were prepared and held for two audiences. First - for the students of the Lviv Polytechnic, the second - for educators and the business.
Lecture for the student audience focused on the moral dimension of sexism in advertising. Report for teachers and businessmen considered the economic effect of sexism in communications.
Each of the auditories has demonstrated a high level of response and interest in the content at issue. The problem of gender stereotyping in advertising continues to haunt the minds - as modern intellectuals and businessmen.
This is not the first series of lectures by the creative director of the Bureau. Earlier reports "On sexism in advertising and the automotive market of Ukraine" were read by Nicola Chernogolovko in fall 2011.
The first - at the 15th international exhibition of advertising, marketing and media REX 2011. The second - at the workshop "Standards of non-discriminatory advertising on gender in Ukraine", organized by "Ukrainian Marketing Association."
